Lauremonté/About Lauremonté
About Lauremonté
Lauremonté builds and refines mechanical watches in Sweden, for people who would rather own one good thing than several forgettable ones.
The name is ours, and so is everything it goes on. Every piece we make is built around a Japanese automatic movement, fitted with sapphire and ceramic, finished by hand, and sold under our own name, never anyone else's. Nordic restraint, and no borrowed badges.
How a Lauremonté is built
Each watch is assembled on the bench, one at a time. The movement is dropped in, the dial and hands are fitted and aligned, the case is sealed, and the finished watch is put on a timegrapher and regulated by hand before it is packed. Nothing leaves running worse than ±15 seconds a day, and regulation to ±5 s/day is available as an upgrade.
What we say about water resistance
A case that has been opened and reassembled no longer carries its factory rating, so we state water resistance as sealed by us, and offer a machine pressure test with a written result as a paid service. If you intend to swim in it, take the test.
Warranty
Two years on the build and assembly, one year on the movement, from the date of delivery. Given by us, honoured by us.
Independence
Lauremonté is an independent brand. We are not connected to, sponsored by or endorsed by any other watch manufacturer, and nothing we build carries anyone else's name. Read the full disclaimer.
