Lauremonté is an independent watch brand based in Sweden. We are not affiliated with, associated with, authorised by, sponsored by, endorsed by or otherwise officially connected to any other watch manufacturer, any other brand, any distributor or any retailer.

No other manufacturer has reviewed, approved or certified the products that we make or sell.

Trademarks

All trademarks, company names, model names and logos referred to on this website belong to their respective rights holders.

Where a third-party name appears, it is used solely to identify a component that we have purchased and fitted, or to describe technical compatibility and product specifications.

Such use is purely descriptive and does not imply any claim of origin, endorsement, collaboration, partnership, authorisation or approval by a third party.

How our watches are made

Every Lauremonté watch is assembled by hand by us from aftermarket components supplied by independent parts suppliers. These may include cases, dials, hands, bezels, crystals, bracelets and straps, assembled around a Japanese movement.

The finished watch is a Lauremonté product. It is not manufactured by any other watch brand, and it is not sold as an original product from any other manufacturer.

We do not describe our watches as authentic, original, genuine or limited-edition examples of any other manufacturer's products, because they are not.

Where specifications for a movement are stated, they are based on the component manufacturer's published information about that movement. Those figures do not constitute any certification of the finished, assembled Lauremonté watch.

Modification and the original manufacturer's warranty

A watch or component that has been opened, modified or assembled outside the original manufacturer's authorised service organisation may lose any original manufacturer's warranty, along with any previously stated water-resistance rating.

This is relevant to Lauremonté watches because our watches are assembled by us from separate components.

The water-resistance figures we state refer to the watch at delivery, in the condition it leaves our workshop. The figures describe how the watch is sealed at the time of delivery.

A stated water resistance should not automatically be taken as a guarantee that the watch is suitable for activities such as diving, swimming, bathing or showering, unless this is expressly stated for the model in question.

Gaskets, crystals, crowns and other sealing components are subject to wear and can be affected by, among other things, use, changes in temperature and age. The watch's seal should therefore be checked regularly.

Our own warranty

Lauremonté watches are covered by our own warranty, which is provided and administered directly by us.

The warranty covers:

Two years on construction and assembly.
One year on the movement.

The warranty period runs from the date of delivery.

This is Lauremonté's own warranty and it is independent of any warranty programmes offered by other manufacturers or component suppliers.
